These two beauties are about 5 months old and were pulled from Columbus County shelter in NC which IS a gassing facility. Here is what wonderful foster mom has to say: I just wanted to give you my update on Lady and Tramp. I have to admit Iwas a little nervous at first because they were so scared--it seemed like they had not been socialized at all. But they are super sweet dogs and so far they are doing really well. Lady is very sensitive and very gentle. Tramp is all boy--more outgoing and very food motivated. They get along really well with our 4 dogs, 2 of whom are much bigger than them. They are great with our kids (ages 9 mos up to almost 5) who play with them constantly. They are crate trained, but not completely house broken, so we are working on that. We are also working on basic obedience and walking on a leash. They seem pretty smart so I think they will pick it up fairly quickly. They are very close to each other and I would love to see them get adopted together. If they have to be separated, I would suggest a house with another dog or people who are around a lot. The hound part of them is very pack oriented and I don't think they would do well alone. If you want to adopt both there will be a SUBSTANTIAL discount. Our adoption fee is $150 for each and that includes their shots, vetting, deworming, flea/tick treatment, health certificate, and transport. There will also be a $50 spay/neuter deposit on each, which will be returned upon proof of spay/neuter. If you like to adopt both the fee will be $225 total.
