Hello, my name is Mickey.  As you can see I'm a Chihuahua mix.  I'm a little older than my friends here at my new foster home.  I'm between six and eight years old and I weigh between fifteen and twenty pounds.  I do weigh too much but we're working on that.  I can now go outside and play in a yard instead of being stuck in a muddy kennel all of the time.  It's really fun and amazing.  Do you know that every flower smells special when you've not been out to play for a long time?  My foster mom tells me that it gets better than this.  That there's actually a special home out there somewhere just for me.  A home where people are nice and kind and loving and will let me be their friend and give all the love that I've stored up over the years.  Do you think she's right? I hope so, Mickey
